I wanted to arrive super-early, grab a Starbucks coffee at PMH and chill in the lobby before popping over for my biopsy at Mount Sinai. I needed the calmness. I needed the space. I wanted to have time to just be, relaxed, in the moment and not feel rushed at all.
7:45 am - arrival at Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre (Mount Sinai)
8:10 am - checked-in (we really need more efficient & effective ways for this process!)

8:15 am - Ultrasound & Biopsy performed by Kim (Technician) and Dr. Dionne (Radiologist) - THEY WERE AWESOME!
In just over an hour: ultrasound, local anesthetic, 8 retrievals of cell samples, 2 titanium markers left inside my left b@@b, 1 post-biopsy mammogram.
10:30 am - Home.
Remainder of the Day: rest, no lifting, icing to reduce swelling, Tylenol for the pain, lots of online streaming, snoozing, laying low and positive-vibration healing.
